From November 10-12th, the eyes of the stainless steel community turned to Maastricht, the Netherlands, and the 7th Biennial Stainless Steel World Conference & Expo. Despite the challenging business climate the show proved to be the largest to date, attracting 250 conference delegates, 245 exhibiting companies and 4500 visitors.
All these experts, representing a broad spectrum of disciplines, came together to listen to each other, exchange ideas and information and do business. Their clear goal throughout the three days was to optimize the application of corrosion resistant alloys in terms of safety , performance, reliability and life-cycle cost.
