KCI (Knowledge Communication Information) Publishing is a technology driven, independent Media and Information Group. The company is a market leader in processing and delivering technical information with a high added value for the global flow control, stainless steel and pump communities in the process industries. Famous brands are Stainless Steel World, Valve World, Pump Engineer, Nuclear Exchange, and Edelstahl Aktuell, and doing business in more than 80 countries worldwide. Our portfolio contains over 120 media and 32 powerfull labels. Media in English, Chinese, German and French language. We would like to improve ourselfs and our products everyday. Since its foundation in 1989, the company has enjoyed a healthy annual growth of about 20%, and it is its ambition to further expand its products and services in Europe, Americas, and Asia. Today the company employs over 80 people representing more than 28 different nationalities, staffing offices in Holland, Germany, China, and Canada. KCI focuses on the process industries, covering chemical, offshore, onshore, (nuclear) power generation, food and beverage, pharmacutical, oil & gas, petrochemical, pulp & paper and marine applications. It has established widely recognised brands: Valve World, Stainless Steel World, Nuclear Exchange, Pump Engineer, Edelstahl Aktuell, Armaturen Welt, Pumpen Aktuell, Stainless Steel World Asia Journal and Valve World Americas Journal.
KCI collects data on valves, corrosion-resistant alloys and pumps on a global scale. The data are collected for the “community” of valve, CRA, pump professionals and specialists in the process industry and disseminated through different media channels, i.e. Online, Print, Live, and Research services.
Ownership
KCI is an independent company established in 1989 with two private shareholders Tertium Invest BV and Lathro BV.
Global growth
The global industrial climate was favorable over the past years and demand was high in mostly all process industries and in all markets, particularly Asia. Rapid economic growth in China and India created the conditions for this positive development. KCI is well positioned to benefit from this industrial expansion. As a global company we are proud of having customers who are also operating successfully in the international arena.
