KCI – around the World: any time, any place, any language
KCI‘s business model is based on a unique concept: The cross medial four-channel
strategy. This concept is based on the fact that the ways in which people search
for information has changed tremendously in recent years. Whilst longstanding
media such as print are still highly valuated, professionals often require instant
access to news or may want quickly source background material. At the same time
there is an increasing need for people to meet face to face. KCI anticipated this
trend and has created four dedicated information channels: printed media, face to-
face media, electronic media and research & intelligence. Each channel has its
own characteristics and benefits. This means that the information processed daily
by the global team of KCI editors can be disseminated quickly and reliably using
the most appropriate channel or channels.
